Shows and Art Festivals 2023

As 2023 has progressed it has been wonderful to be able to exhibit my work at various exhibitions and shows.
Thank you to everyone who has visited thus far, and a special big thank you to those who have provided a new home to my work.

This year, the calendar of events has filled rapidly and I am attending several new events (both new to me and completely new) and I hope to meet some old friends and make some new ones.

Longwick Artshow 2023

Friday February 17th to Sunday February 19th 2023

This is the 34th year for the Longwick Art Show and it is based at the Longwick School near Princes Risborough,

where there will be 90+ artists showing in excess of 540 artworks. 

The Preview Night on Friday 17th from 7:30-10pm will provide an opportunity to meet the artists, and enjoy some live music

The Chilterns MS Centre - Pop Up Art Weekend- 4th-5th March 2023

The *Annual* Pop-Up Art Weekend in 2023 takes place on March 4th and 5th with over 90 artists exhibiting their work.  Visitors will see a wide range of artwork including paintings, photographs, ceramics, jewellery, sculptures and more.  Available to purchase, everything from framed works to postcards.
Free to attend, the profit from items sold goes towards the Chilterns MS Centre, helping to support local people affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

Mentmore Arts Festival
27th - 29th May 2023 11am-5pm

In its 13th year, the festival will be raising funds for the Church and Mind UK (Buckinghamshire), and Mencap in Leighton Buzzard  
My third year exhibiting at Mentmore Arts Festival in the beautiful countryside on the Buckinghamshire/Bedfordshire border.  
The Festival takes place in both the village Church and the Village Hall.  
The nearest town is Leighton Buzzard while trains can also bring you to Cheddington Station, which is walkable distance for the enthusiastic.   Parking is available in the village nearby, but please be aware the walk from the Village Hall to the Church is mostly on road, not footpath.

St Albans Art Society Annual Show

My first year in the St Albans Art Society in 2023. 

Going back to the area where I grew up, which although not so far away from where I live, I haven't visited for a long time.  Really looking forward to this event, renewing my acquaintance with the area.
